Overview
The Coordinator of Admissions Events & Communications is responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing events and communications targeted at meeting the enrollment goals for the College, in accordance with the Admissions Office and overall College strategic planning processes. This position will be required to work evenings and weekends. This position requires travel that may be in or out-of state during peak recruitment periods. May require some nighttime driving.

EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s Degree Required
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
- Valid and in State Valid Driver’s License Required
EXPERIENCE
- Two (2) years experience in college admissions or related area such as marketing, communications, event planning, or public relations. Required
- Related experience dealing with the public, i.e., marketing, sales, education, etc. Preferred
ABILITIES AND SKILLS
- Excellent oral and written communication skills. Required
- Developed organizational skills. Required
- Interpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively and courteously with prospective students, parents, College staff and the public. Required
- Familiarity with CRM systems and practices. Preferred
- Ability to resolve routine problems with accuracy and composure. Required
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently, and with minimal supervision. Required
- Possession of a valid drivers license. Required

Responsibilities
- Coordinate and implement all aspects of Admissions oncampus recruitment events for prospective students and guests.
- Oversee all aspects of the personal tour process.
- Organize and participate in digital recruitment activities (virtual tours, online chats, webinars, social media activity, etc.)
- Manage the assessment of Admissions events to assist in the development of recruitment & marketing strategies.
- Update event registration information in the CRM at the start of each event schedule cycle. Including but not limited to: creating new events, updating event trigger communication, and coordinating updates to the Colleges Visit page with Public Relations & Marketing.
- Coordinate the execution of event registrant communications and outreach around each event.
- Coordinate the execution of and updates to the Admissions communication plan for incoming students, e.g., email drip campaign.
- Provide support in the execution of the communication and outreach plans utilized by Regional Admissions Recruiters and Enrollment Counselors.
- Coordinate the development and execution of ad hoc recruitment communications.
- Coordinate the promotional mailings for recruitment travel, e.g., high school visit confirmation packets, transfer information session confirmation packets, etc.
- Coordinate and oversee the recurring mailings in collaboration with Public Relations & Marketing.
- Oversee monitoring and tracking of inventory of recruitment materials.
- Manage the development, periodic review, and updating of the Admissions webpages.
- Effectively use the offices CRM, including ensuring data integrity and timeliness of data entry.
- Coordinate the development and delivery of presentations.
- Supervise and coordinate the scheduling, training and preparation of Admissions Tour Guides.
- Coordinate telecounseling initiatives, including but not limited to: Open House, incomplete applications, placement testing, etc.
- Serve as the Admissions liaison on planning committees for on/off campus events, as needed.
- Serve on various College committees, as requested by the Director of Admissions.
- Develop, manage, and coordinate the execution of the Admissions social media plan.
- Research, propose, and develop new opportunities for oncampus recruitment events and digital recruitment activities.
- Develop and maintain a thorough working knowledge of all aspects of the Colleges matriculation process beyond Admissions, to include, financial aid, placement testing, new student advising, course scheduling, bill paying, orientation, residence life, move in, first year programs, etc.
- Develop and maintain a thorough working knowledge of the Colleges academic programs, academic requirements, academic policies and procedures, academic calendar, academic support services, curricular opportunities, career services, etc.
- Provide back-up support to Regional Admissions Recruiters and Enrollment Counselors during peak seasons. (Marginal)
- As needed, participate in off campus recruitment, including scheduling visits, preparing for visits, and appropriately following up on all visits.
- As needed, coordinate and conduct personal tours for prospective students and
parents/supporters.
- Conduct tours, meet with students and parents to inform them of admissions procedures, general financial aid, housing, academic programs.
- Answer correspondence for admissions and general College information, regarding academic schools and their majors/curriculum areas.
- Provide telephone and personnel coverage as needed during in office work hours.

Pay Transparency
Based on minimum education and experience qualifications the yearly salary range is $54,000 – $63,500.
