Job Description:
This position is responsible for the implementation and on-going evaluation and revision of the recruitment plan as it pertains to the enrollment goals of the College. This position is also responsible for the planning, execution, and evaluation of recruitment events and calendar.

Essential Job Functions

  • Serves as the primary point of contact for recruitment/enrollment activities in the Admissions Office.
  • Work in collaboration with high school, career and technology center personnel, and/or other community partners to identify, recruit, and enroll traditional students as well as adult learners.
  • Case manage prospective students using manual and electronic tracking mechanisms, within specific territories or target populations, through enrollment by coordinating services with pathway/faculty advisors and/or other College resources. Set and measure key performance indicators based upon previous enrollment data for their respective territory.
  • Represent the College both on-campus and off-campus to prospective students, parents, high school representatives, companies, organizations, community liaisons and any other individuals or organizations involved in the College choice and selection process.
  • Provide prospective students with knowledge of career pathways and the aligning academic programs offered by the College.
  • Coordinate/oversee partnerships with community organizations for events on and off campus to build College awareness and potential programs.
  • Manage the computer software application associated with all aspects of the College recruitment module, including the training of employees and the implementation of periodic upgrades and modifications.
  • Coordinate event marketing and prospect communications with the Communications Department.
  • Collect and review data in the evaluation of the recruitment plan.
  • Work closely with College personnel including deans, faculty and student service staff to communicate College programs, admissions requirements, financial assistance and other essential information to interested parties.
  • Take appropriate initiative, actively identifying areas for improvements and propose solutions.
  • Train and develop student ambassadors. Oversee ambassador program.
  • Maintain SOAR and Career and Technical articulation agreements.
  • Hire, mentor, and supervise direct reports; complete annual performance evaluations.
  • Perform job duties in accordance with College policies and procedures.
