Job Summary
The Assistant Director of Graduate Admissions is responsible for managing the application materials for prospective student and admission processes for graduate programs. Duties include tracking application data and providing reports to program directors, serving as a liaison between departments and prospective students, answering inquiries, and offering advice on program fit. The successful candidate will use software and systems to manage application workflows ensuring all materials are received and organized. They will assist with admissions events such as open houses, information sessions, and recruitment fairs and provide guidance on application requirements, deadlines, and available programs. When needed, the Assistant Director will assist in the reviewing of transcripts, test scores, letters of recommendation, and other application materials for admission.
Required Qualifications
- Worked in admissions, recruitment, or higher education.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with CRM systems or other application management software.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

- Knowledge of graduate education trends and best practices.
- Experience working with graduate students.
- Experience working with first generation college students.
- Experience with SLATE CRM systems and admissions software.
- Experience with Elucian Banner student information system.
- Familiarity with the specific academic programs offered by the institution.

Hiring Range
Up to $55,000, depending on experience.
