Job Summary: SUNY Brockport is currently accepting applications for a
Assistant Director for Transfer Services (ADTS). The person in this role plays a critical role in facilitating and enhancing the transfer
process for prospective students. This position oversees the university’s seamless transfer efforts, including the evaluation of transfer
credits, assists with onboarding new transfer students, and ensures a seamless transition for students transferring into Brockport. The
Assistant Director of Transfer Services collaborates with Academic Affairs, Enrollment Management, and advising to support student
recruitment, onboarding, and overall success at the university.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree by
time of appointment from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally recognized college or
university. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in higher education, with at least 1 year in transfer services or admissions.
- Strong understanding of transfer policies and procedures.
- Demonstrated management/supervisory experience.
- Proven
experience in building and maintaining partnerships with community colleges. - Excellent leadership, organizational, and
communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree.
- Knowledge of information and
technology systems; primarily Slate, Banner, and Degree Works. - Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including
students, faculty, and external partners. - Ability to manage competing priorities.
Work Schedule: Monday
– Friday, 8am – 4pm
Salary and Benefits: The minimum salary for this position is $62,596.
