Summary
Performs executive-level administrative duties to support the Executive Director for Enrollment Services &
University Registrar. This position serves as the principal administrative contact for the Executive Director for Enrollment Services &
University Registrar. It will be responsible for developing and operating effective systems for managing the administrative needs of the
Executive Director and University Registrar.

Responsibilities:
- Serve as the principal administrative contact for, and perform executive level administrative
duties for, the Executive Director for Enrollment Services & University Registrar. - Serves as a point of contact by welcoming
guests, students, parents, faculty, and administrators by greeting them in person or on the telephone; answering or directing inquiries; and
using multiple communication platforms, including email, telephone, instant message, fax, etc. - Assist with coordinating meetings
and preparing agendas and presentations for the Executive Director and University Registrar. - Attend select meetings with the
Executive Director and University Registrar to take minutes and follow up on action items. - Manage the Executive Director and
University Registrar’s calendar and travel arrangements/reimbursements; respond quickly and efficiently to a high volume of scheduling
requests and changes. - Receive and process incoming communication to the Executive Director and University Registrar.
- Draft
and edit correspondence and documents in support of the Executive Director and University Registrar - Assist in the research,
analysis, and preparation of reports in support of the Executive Director and University Registrar. - Independently manage special
projects as assigned by the Executive Director and University Registrar. - Assist in monitoring the Executive Director and University
Registrar’s email account and general office email accounts; review, triage, research, and respond to inquiries as necessary. - Maintains office supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, evaluating new office
products, placing and expediting orders for supplies, and verifying receipt of supplies. - Serve as purchasing card holder and budget
officer for the offices under the supervision of the Executive Director. - Assists with hiring, training, and supervising the student
workforce, supporting the offices under the supervision of the Executive Director. - Maintain confidentiality of records information
and adhere to FERPA standards. - Other projects and duties as assigned.
Requested Minimum
Qualifications
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
EXPERIENCE:
- A minimum of 3 years of related administrative/executive assistant and office
management experience in positions that demonstrate the ability to work independently, solve problems, and exercise independent and mature
judgment is required.
Other Preferences for Consideration
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience in a higher education setting is strongly preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

proficiency in, or ability to learn, the University’s administrative records system (Banner) and additional applications. - Intermediate to advanced skills with the Microsoft Office Suite and the Google Platform.

with frequent interruption and remain calm under pressure. - Ability to perform with minimum supervision in a high-volume work

Physical Requirements
- Ability to move about campus to
attend/conduct meetings within the Morgan State University community. - Ability to interact via telephone, in person, and via
electronic media. - Ability to work in a typical office environment requiring extended periods of time sitting and working at a
computer daily.
Additional Position Notes
- Full-time on-site position, Monday through Friday,
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, in alignment with Morgan State University’s official hours of operation.
