Work Schedule:
8:30 am – 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours

Position Overview

Rider University invites applications for an Admission Counselor who will be responsible for obtaining necessary knowledge of all aspects of Rider and acting as a credible spokesperson for the University in a professional and customer-oriented manner. The Admission Counselor will also be responsible for counseling prospective students, reviewing applications, making admission decisions, and managing a specific recruitment territory.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, time management, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare reports and statistics on a regular basis.
  • Familiarity with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Suite and student information systems.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of social media and digital marketing.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Effectively work and communicate with faculty and administration.
  • Valid drivers license and vehicle required.
  • Satisfactory background and/or DMV checks required

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Bilingual
  • Music or arts background preferred.
