Responsibilities:

The University Concierge will be responsible for the
following tasks, duties, and responsibilities:

  1. Answer phone and email inquiries from potential guests in a timely and
    respectful manner.
  2. Greet guests and visitors warmly and make them feel welcome and attended.
  3. Offer recommendations and
    assist guests in arranging visits or tours.
  4. Receive and redirect mail, phone calls, packages, etc. for Enrollment
    Services.
  5. Ensure that visitor spaces are clean and presentable at all times.
  6. Act as a liaison between guests and any
    department necessary.
  7. Anticipate guests needs in order to accommodate them and provide an exceptional guest
    experience.
  8. Maintain inventory of admissions collateral and request new stock as needed.
  9. Participate in training with the
    Office of Communications to maintain brand standard.
  10. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  1. 1+ years of
    previous customer service experience.
  2. Positive phone demeanor and superior written and verbal communication skills are
    essential.
  3. Must have a service-oriented mindset and be capable of making every guest feel valued.
  4. Knowledge of basic office
    equipment, including printers, scanners, copiers, etc.
  5. Exemplify strong organizational skills and attention to
    detail.
  6. Competent working with Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Outlook and Excel.
  7. Possess a positive attitude and be
    willing to work as part of a team.
  8. Ability to speak a second language is an asset.
  9. Willing to work irregular shifts and
    weekends during peak seasons.
  10. High School Diploma (some college completion preferred).
  11. Makes decisions and establishes work
    priorities on essentially procedure-oriented operations.
  12. Position has no supervisory
    responsibilities.
